hello I'm belle

I make art from the heart

WELCOME TO MY PORTFOLIO
ABOUT ME

I am a multidisciplinary artist, storyteller and cycle breaker exploring the relationship between creative expression, connection to nature and post traumatic growth.

I live, create and study between Melbourne and the Macedon Ranges, on the traditional land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.

I believe that strengthening our connection to art, nature, our inner realm & one another can help us address enduring issues such as mental illness, loneliness, violence and the climate crisis—with current research and millennia old knowledge of First Nations people supporting this!

I follow this path day by day to transcend generational patterns and complex trauma, using the act of creation as a healing ritual.

I hope my work resonates with you.

Thank you for being here. â™¡

WHAT I DO

My creative practice is centred around mindfulness and authenticity—drawing from a place of awareness, vulnerability and intuition; using symbolism to express meaning while connecting deeply with the self—and maybe you, too.

Every piece is made from the heart and has been instilled with intentions for growth, truth and healing.

As I heal myself, I strengthen my ability to support others.

Since asking myself how I can be of service at this difficult time in our history, I began facilitating community workshops, creating socially engaged art and volunteering with the Artists for Kids Culture artsbus

In my Bachelor of Arts I focused on experiencing & researching the therapeutic benefits of artmaking, and this year I am commencing a Master of Art Therapy so I can engage more people in creative expression for wellbeing.
