hello I'm belle

I make art from the heart

WELCOME TO MY PORTFOLIO
ABOUT ME

I am a multidisciplinary artist, writer and experiential creative arts therapist living and learning on the traditional land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.

My creative practice is centred around the therapeutic use of artmaking, where I explore the relationship between creative expression, connection to nature and post traumatic growth.

I’m interested in how engaging in creative processes can allow us to be with and move through challenging emotions & experiences, connect with our inner & outer world, discover new insights & ways of being, and cultivate nourishing feelings such as calm & joy. The pieces you’ll find here are outcomes, remnants and reminders of this process.

Since asking myself how I can be of service at this difficult time in our history, I also began facilitating community workshops, creating socially engaged art, volunteering with not-for-profit organisations such as Artists for Kids Culture, and working towards my Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice at The MIECAT Institute, which I completed at the end of 2025.

You can read more about my practice and involvement in community arts here.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I create. I recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. I pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging, and all First Nations people, who have been creating art and telling stories on this land for tens of thousands of years. Sovereignty has never been ceded—this always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
