HISTORY OF TODAY
I was having a hard time with everything going on in the world, so I created Today to shift my emotions from difficult to positive.
By focusing on lovely memories and moments happening around us — and spending some time drawing and writing about them — we practice creativity, mindfulness and gratitude, which can calm our nervous systems and help us feel a lot better.
I was given the opportunity to launch Today in a workshop with Artists for Kids Culture artsbus over the Spring 2021 school holidays — and now, I'm sharing it with you to spread the joy of artmaking and storytelling.
Today is also available in the Connection Arts Space library — the first, of what will be many, artist made resources.
